御牛堂 Uno Beef Noodle ( Blundell Rd ): Reviews & Ratings
Very good and authentic beef noodle! You have the beef in noodle and soup, or you can get the rice bento as well. Looking around the restaurant, it seems like it's a pretty even split in which one people ordered. I had the original beef noodle in soup with wide noodles. This restaurant is immediately to the left of the bottle recycling depot. It is a bit on the small size, and you cannot make reservations, so be prepared to wait if you're not coming right when it opens. There is a QR code that you can scan to lineup on site. Parking is generally fine since it's in a decently big mall. You just might have to walk a bit.
The beef noodles here are just as delicious as ever. The broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is tender and well-cooked. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back. The popcorn chicken is perfectly crispy as always crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of that classic Taiwanese street food flavor. I was also impressed by the cold noodles. They’re super flavorful with a generous amount of sauce, giving off a strong and authentic Taiwanese taste. Perfect for summer. I really enjoy everything about this place. Almost every dish hits the mark and rarely disappoints. It’s the kind of spot you’d confidently recommend to friends. Absolutely fantastic. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
Best spot for Taiwanese Beef noodle soup. A2 is classic and taste just like the beef noodle soup they have in Taiwan.
Actually the dishes are better than expected. I ordered 塩酥雞麪 and 招牌牛肉麵, both are delicious. Noodles are good, beef and chicken are nicely cooked. The soup base tasty too. Service by staff is to my satisfaction. I seldom have staff refilling the tea cup for me without asking, and they do it automatically several times during my meal.
I am so happy there's a Taiwanese restaurant nearby. The first thing I worry was " Do they only take cash?" Luckily they take credit card as well. I ordered their chicken katsu noodle and a side dish that I have not had for long time. It was very good. The environment was clean and bright. I went on 2nd time with a friend and the sesemi noodle was very good, and so is the pop corn chicken rice bento. Both time experiences all give me a happy tummy.
First time visiting here for a Sunday lunch. This place got busy quickly upon opening time! I recommend getting here before they open and/or making reservations. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. We had the chicken cutlet rice set and the marinated tendon and pig ears. The pig ears were too spicy for us but the tendon was perfect. Service was very attentive too!
Not too many seats inside, so expect a lineup during peak hours. Beef noodles were consistently good. Portion size was average. Milk tea had rich flavours, but the pearls were a tad overcooked.
The beef, noodles, broth, and chicken here are delightful. Food here is rich in flavour and extremely satisfying (the portions are just right). Keep in mind that the noodles are slightly spicy, even without ordering the spicy version - keep that in mind! There's also plenty of parking, as it is located in one of those strip malls in Richmond.
